Abstract
Patent claims are the most important part of the patent application because it is the claims that define the invention for which protection is granted.  In this webinar, we will share some principles and techniques of drafting high quality patent claims.

Bio of Speaker

Hsu Min specialises in patents in the fields of chemistry, material science and pharmaceuticals. Her experience includes drafting and prosecuting patent applications in a wide range of technologies, including those relating to pharmaceuticals, catalytic processes, household products, electrochemistry, petrochemicals, osmosis, medical devices and polymers. She works for a variety of clients including universities, start-ups and multi-national corporations.

Hsu Min has a First-Class Masters’ Degree in Chemistry from Oxford University. She started in the patent profession in private practice in 1996, before joining the in-house patent department of a FTSE 100 multinational Oil & Gas company. She joined HGF as a Partner in 2011, having been a Partner at another major patent firm.
