About the Speaker:

Hsu Min specialises in patents in the fields of chemistry, material science and pharmaceuticals. 

Her clients range from multinationals and SME’s through to universities and research organisations. She has helped universities and start-ups protect their early stage IP in the pharmaceutical field, and helped them to develop IP portfolios fit for commercialisation. 

Hsu Min also advises clients in the field of generic pharmaceuticals and routinely advises such clients on their freedom to operate in the light of third party patent rights. 

Hsu Min has a wealth of experience in European Oppositions and Appeals and regularly represents clients at Oral proceedings at the European Patent Office. 

She has also produced due diligence reports for company flotations on AIM.

Hsu Min entered the patent profession after gaining a First Class Honours Degree in Chemistry from Oxford University. She joined HGF as a Partner in 2011, having been a Partner at another major patent firm.
