Abstract: 
In this seminar, the IP Management Team of the Technology Transfer Office will share previous successful patent cases related to the School of Chinese Medicine and explain the concept of patentable subject matters under the US and China patent laws. We will also demonstrate how to conduct simple patent search through some free patent databases on the internet. 

About the Speaker: 
The IP Management Team at TTO was formed in 2017 to manage invention disclosures, patent applications, and portfolio review for the University. The team include one Chinese patent attorney and one US patent attorney with more than 20 years’ professional experience in patent prosecution, patent valuation and patent portfolio management.
