The CE's Reception for Awardees of International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2021 was successfully held on 17th May 2021 at the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks. Chief Executive Carrie Lam commended Hong Kong research and development (R&D) talents for their inventions winning worldwide acclaim.
Dr. He Yiwu, Chief Innovation Officer & Senior Advisor to the President, HKU and Professor Chen Honglin, Gold Medal with Congratulations of the Jury Awardee introduced the Flu-based COVID-19 Vaccine to the Chief Executive Carrie Lam, Swiss Consul-General in Hong Kong Rolf Frei and Secretary for Innovation & Technology Alfred Sit.

The University’s participation in this year’s competition was coordinated by the Technology Transfer Office of HKU (HKUTTO). HKU reaped a total of eleven awards at the Special Edition 2021 Inventions Geneva Evaluation Days.
